Only buckle, snap, martingale or
limited slip collars,
or non-pulling harness, regular harness or head halters are allowed at
DIXIE's Animal Training.
*Please do not bring your dog to ANY class on a choke collar or prong collar*
No Wolf or Wolf Hybrid accepted in any class.
Class Requirements:
SHOTS: shot records or titer results
for distemper and parvo must be presented the first day of class.
A recent (within 1 month) clear worm check from your vet is required.
RABIES CERTIFICATE required in all classes for dogs 4 months
old and up.
GROOMING: No grooming services are provided and your dog must be clean, free of mats
and parasite-free.
HERDING CLASS: Minimum age: 9 months. Dog must
have passed an instinct test to enter class and know how to down and come. Dog must
be herding breed or herding breed mix.
HERDING INSTINCT TEST: Minimum age: 6 months. Dog must be herding breed or herding
breed mix.
OBEDIENCE, RALLY AND AGILITY CLASSES: Minimum age: 9 weeks. For agility and rally class, dog should know
how to down, sit and come when called. No aggressive dogs in agility classes or
regular obedience/rally classes.
Special private lessons are available for aggression problems.
